(Kampong Chhnang): On July 13, 2026, Mr. Moun Meng, representing Mr. Ly Vichet, President of the Cambodian Worker's Mind Union Federation at Kai Neng Leather Products (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., located in Phsar Trach Village, Longvek Commune, Kampong Tralach District, Kampong Chhnang Province, brought and distributed financial assistance directly to the factory workers.
According to the union representative, the financial aid was distributed to the workers, with each individual receiving 60,000 Riels to help support their livelihood. The recipients included:
- Pregnant workers: 7 individuals
- Newly married workers: 3 individuals
- Postpartum workers (recently given birth): 2 individuals
- Workers on sick leave: 1 individual
This humanitarian activity demonstrates the high consideration and care of the union's leadership towards the well-being, health, and daily livelihoods of the workers currently dedicated to their duties at the factory.
