On 21 June 2026, Mr. Ly Vichet, President of the Cambodia Confederation of Workers Fortunate (CCWF) and President of the Cambodian Worker's Mind Union Federation (CMUF), both affiliated with IndustriALL Global Union, warmly welcomed Ms. Christina Hajagos-Clausen, Director of the Textile, Garment, Shoes and Leather (TGSL) Industry Sector of IndustriALL Global Union, together with her delegation, during their official visit to the headquarters of the Cambodia Confederation of Workers Fortunate (CCWF) in Takhmao City, Kandal Province, Cambodia.

During the visit, Ms. Christina Hajagos-Clausen and her delegation met with CCWF and CMUF union leaders for a friendly discussion and exchange of views on labor issues, workers’ rights and interests, and opportunities to further strengthen cooperation between national and global trade unions. The meeting also highlighted the importance of solidarity and collective efforts in promoting decent work, social justice, and improved working conditions for workers in Cambodia.

On this occasion, Ms. Christina Hajagos-Clausen expressed her sincere appreciation and delight for the warm welcome and hospitality extended by Mr. Ly Vichet and the leadership of both CCWF and CMUF. She highly commended their commitment and contributions to representing workers, safeguarding their legitimate rights and interests, and promoting a stronger and more effective trade union movement in Cambodia.

The visit was conducted in a cordial and constructive atmosphere, reflecting the strong relationship and shared commitment between CCWF, CMUF, and IndustriALL Global Union. It further strengthened cooperation and solidarity among the organizations and reaffirmed their common dedication to advancing workers’ rights, welfare, and dignity in Cambodia and across the global labor movement.
